Yamaha 250cc engined classic kart, built byHesketh in the late 1970's & early 80's.

The chassis is now at the powder coaters and some metal work is being re-chromed. new rear bumper is being remade.

Chassis now back and i can start refitting parts, all bearings replaced. back axle is stripped so i can recondition / repare the sprocket & disc carrier. 

A new floor pan and seat have been made by Tony Keele of TK motorcycles, I have replaced the brake master cylinders and fitted the refurbished calipers and fitted flexible pipe.

Pedals and steering column rechromed and fitted, new bumpers have been made and are due back from the platers tomorrow.

I have stripped the engine and while the heads and barrels are of being ported i will make a trial engine mount out of mdf , then use 10mm alloy sheet for the final item.
